Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has walked out of the BJP led NDA government in 2018 and his party, the TDP, fought the Lok Sabha and assembly elections alone. He is the first chief minister of divided AP. In the beginning of his political career, he was in Congress and then took the leadership of TDP after the demise of party founder and his father-in-law NT Rama Rao. He gained control of TDP after his bitter fight with NTR widow Lakshmi Parvathi. It is to be seen whether he will be able to beat anti-incumbency this time.
