Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman, Sivan has announced a programme to encourage students, who are interested in Space studies. According to it, three students from each state and Union Territory will be selected, to train in ISRO. They will be given lectures and train in the Research and Development lab. The satellites they creat will be tested and will be sent into space if viable, Sivan said. Higher Secondary students from Class VIII onwards will be selected for the programme.
