Kanhaiya Kumar charged in sedition case - Etv

Former Students' Union president of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Kanhaiya Kumar was chargesheeted by Delhi Police, for sedition. Kanhaiya was charged with raising anti-India slogans and organising a rally to condemn the death sentence to terrorist, Afzal Guru. Umar Khaid and Anirban Bhattacharya were also chargesheeted, among several other Communist Party activists. CCTV footage, documentary evidence and mobile footage were also submitted along with the chargesheet. It was prepared based on an FIR filed on February 11th, 2016, at Vasanth Kunj police station.
