AP Govt speeds up Permanent Secretariat constructions works in Amaravati - ABN

Andhra Pradesh's capital Amaravati will get its first permanent building, the foundation for which was laid by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on December 27. The Secretariat Building will be 212 meters high, spread across 41 acres with five towers, built at a cost of Rs 4,890 crore. The raft foundation works have already commenced and it is said that this work will be completed within 72 hours. For the construction of the raft foundation, a huge labour force, machinery and construction materials have been arranged.
