The coastal district Srikakulam has been facing the threat of Cyclone Phethai. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rainfall has been forecast for coastal Andhra Pradesh for two days starting from today i.e on December 16th. The cyclone is likely to cross Kakinada and Visakhapatnam on the afternoon of December 17 i.e on Monday. People of Srikakulam district are in the state of worry as recently cyclone Titli and Gaja have affected their livelihood. On the other hand, the state government has geared up for all the measures.
