Reserve Bank of India Governor Urjit Patel has resigned today i.e on December 10th. He has cited the personal reasons for quitting the same. Earlier, it was alleged that Urjit Patel was PM Modi's man and also it was alleged that he helped the government in carrying out the demonetization process. There was a rumour earlier that he quit the RBI governor post last month i.e on November 19th.
