Bhumata Foundation chairperson, Trupthi Desai faced still resistance from devotees, when she reached Cochin airport from Pune, early this morning. She was not allowed to leave the airport. Trupthi is in Kerala to worship at Lord Ayappa Swamy temple, at Sabarimala in Kerala, gates of which will open this evening. But devotees are refusing entry of women despite Supreme Court (SC) orders to the contrary. Meanwhile, Kerala government has doubled up the forces at the temple and along the route, where Section 144 has also been enforced. Over 500 women devotees have registered online, to visit the temple.
