Rival MPs have exchanged blows in Sri Lanka’s Parliament after the Speaker declared the country had no Prime Minister or cabinet. The fighting came a day after a no-confidence vote against the government was passed. The disputed Prime Minister claimed that the Speaker cannot remove him from office. One MP had to go to the hospital after the brawl. Mahinda Rajapaksa, who was recently appointed as Prime Minister by President Sirisena and voted out by MPs, is now calling for a general election.
