SC to hear review petitions by Sabarimala temple, on Nov. 13th - NTv
Supreme Court (SC) will take up the review petitions, challenging it's order with regards to entry of women of menstrual age into Lord Ayappa temple at Sabairmala in Kerala, on November 13th at 3 p.m. Chief Justice of India (CJI), Ranjan Gogoi announced to this effect. As many as 19 review petitions have reached SC, over the issue. Petitioners found fault with SC stricking down the centuries old ban on women entry into Sabarimala temple. Meanwhile, the Devaswom Board of Travancore will meet today to decide about its future course of action.
