IT firms file lawsuit against USCIS over limiting 3-yr H-1B visa tenure - Etv

Several mid and small size IT companies have filed a lawsuit against the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for limiting the tenure of H-1B visa for less than 3 years. In the lawsuit, the IT firms alleged that the USCIS has no powers to reduce H-1B visa tenure. They further alleged that processing of H-1B visas is taking a long time sometimes three years. The companies which filed lawsuit belongs to Indian Americans. They also brought to the notice of the court concerned that the USCIS is not telling the reasons for H-1B visa rejections.
