A semi-humanoid robot, Pepper will soon grace United Kingdom (UK) Parliament, not as a member, but only to demonstrate before a committee, the scope of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the labour market. Built by Japan's technological experts, Softbank, the robot is currently serving many private purposes, like answering questions by university students and in serving the aged. Many however, are terming the UK Parliament bid as a media stunt. While Pepper is expected to answer questions by the committee imprompto, some are mistrusting its abilities. Pepper is known to interpret a person's behaviour through his moments.
