Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu has inaugurated India’s first Indian Culinary Institute in Renigunta mandal on Monday. The institute was set up in 14.21 acres at a cost of Rs 99 crore. Later, he inspected the buildings and classrooms. Addressing a meeting, Venkaiah said that people are not showing interest in locally available varieties and giving preference to foreign dishes. He gave a call to youth to learn culinary skills. He also launched several tourism projects in Nellore and East Godavari districts through remote control.
