Congress national president, Rahul Gandhi, demanded the resignation of Minister Arun Jaitley, in the case of financial fraudster, Vijay Mallya escaping to London. He said that Jaitley knew about Mallya leaving India, but did not inform any of the investigating agencies. Stating that Jaitley is 'lying' about not meeting Mallya formally, Rahul Gandhi produced an eye witness, a Congress leader, P.L.Puniya. The latter said that both Mallya and Jaitley had a long conversation in Central Hall in Parliament, on March 1st, 2016. Two days later Mallya escaped.
