Pranab Bardhan, Shibnath Sarkar win Bridge Gold for India

India's Pranab Bardhan and Shibnath Sarkar won the Gold medal for Bridge in the Asian Games, 2018, at Jakarta, taking the Indian Gold medal tally to 15. Another Indian pair, Sumit Mukherjee and Debabrata Majumdar, won the 9th place with 333 points, at the same event. Earlier, India defeated Pakistan to win the men's hockey bronze and Amit Pangal won the Gold for boxing, defeating the Olympic champion. So far India has won 67 medals in all, out of which 15 are gold, 23 silver and 29 bronze.
