Retired IAS, IPS officers keen on joining YSRCP - NTv

Retired IAS and IPS officers are showing interest in joining the YSRCP. Prior to retirement, they were loyal to the ruling TD government. Retired IAS officers like IYR Krishna Rao and Ajeya Kallam have openly opposed the manner in which the state government is taking up construction of Amaravati, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Former IPS officer Mohammed Iqbal, who worked as a personal security officer for Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had joined the YSRCP. Recently, retired DGP N Sambasiva Rao had met YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy and reportedly evinced interest in joining his party.
