Venkampalli of Kamareddy District in Telangana is home to over 700 households. Before 1998, the village was in deplorable condition as the liquor business and its use had spoiled many families. This led to a clash among many family members and crops also suffered a lot. After 1998, there was enough transformation among the nature of people in the village. The villagers have unitedly taken the oath to keep themselves away from liquor intake. Now, the village has turned a model village free from liquor. There are no complaints against any members of the village in the Police station.
