Remembering India's youngest PM Rajiv Gandhi on his 74th birth anniversary

Rajiv Gandhi became the Prime Minister of India at the age of 40 and he was the seventh and the youngest Prime Minister of India. Rajiv Gandhi is also known as the pioneer of digital India or the computer man of India as he focused on development of technology in the country. Rajiv Gandhi period in office was surrounded by controversies like Bofors scandal, unlocking the gates of Babri Masjid and also involving India in Srilankan civil war by sending the peace keeping force to fight against Prabhakaran's LTTE in the island country. Bhopal tragedy which claimed several thousands of lives occurred during his reign and also the judgement in favour of Muslim divorce regarding Shah Bano case.
