India gets first ever all-female SWAT team

India's first all-female SWAT team has hit the streets on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day celebration. They are trained in martial arts and armed with assault rifles. It is India's first all-female Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team that will be part of the Delhi city's police force and responsible for providing support during hostage crises, terrorist attacks and other high-profile threats in the Indian capital. The team is equipped with MP5 submachine guns and AK-47 rifles, and have been trained in a special form of martial arts
