Heavy rains are lashing Adilabad and Komaram Bheem districts of Telangana. All lowlying areas are inundated. Water has entered the houses in several colonies. Hamlets are inundated and they are resembling lakes. Almost all projects in the districts, like Kadam, Satna, Yerrampalli are brimming with heavy inflows. Three gates of Komaram Bheem project have been opened and water is being released downstream. Roads are waterlogged. Meanwhile, it is raining heavily in Srikakulam and other districts of Andhra Pradesh (AP), due to low pressure in Bay of Bengal.
