E Arjun of Warangal becomes 54th Indian Grand Master - Etv

Telangana Boy E Arjun has become the 54th Grandmaster from India. The 14-year-old who is a native of Warangal and coached by Victor Mikhalevski, got his first Grand Master norm in the Kolkata Grandmasters International tournament in May and his second in a closed round-robin event in Serbia. The third and the final one came with a win in the last round of the Abu Dhabi Masters 2018. E Arjun has become the fifth player to achieve this in the two Telugu states after P Harikrishna, Koneru Humpi, D Harika, M Lalith Babu.
