Former Indian Cricket Captain Ajit Wadekar Passes Away - Etv

Team India former captain Ajit Wadekar has passed away in Mumbai after suffering with ill health since some time and he succumbed to death in Jaslok hospital. Team India won the test series against England and West Indies for the first time in history under Ajit Wadekar leadership in the year 1971. Ajit Wadekar was also the first captain of Indian One Day team and he served in BCCI with several other former cricketers. President Ram Nath Kovind and several others condoled the death of Wadekar.
