Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has promised Muslims to construct an India’s best Haj House in Vijayawada at a cost of Rs 100 crore. He wished that the proposed Haj House should become reception centre for Muslims. The Chief Minister met Muslims, who are leaving for Haj pilgrimage at his residence in Undavalli on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu has expressed anguish over imposing GST on Haj pilgrims by the Modi government. He stated that direct flights will operate from Vijayawada to Saudi Arabia from 2019 for the benefit of Muslims leaving for Haj pilgrimage.
