PM Modi changes strategy over early polls - ABN

Fri, Jul 13, 2018, 10:53 AM
Fearing public anger, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed his strategy of going for early simultaneous elections. He wants to use the time for changing the people’s negative perception towards the BJP. Recently, the NDA government had announced the support price for sugarcane farmers. The strategy of the BJP is to conduct Kisan rallies all over India and wants to send a message that the Modi government is farmer friendly. Reducing prices of diesel and petrol and launching schemes to appease middle class are some of the measures of the Modi government to create positive image on the BJP.
