Manasa Sarovar Yatra turned tragical with the death of 3 pilgrims, of who 2 are Telugus. The tourists are facing problems with the adverse weather conditions in the Nepal and Tibet hilly regions. Indian Embassy is observing the arrangements of shifting of the tourists to a safe place. Officers have already shifted 158 pilgrims safely through special helicopters and chartered flights. Officials have also shifted the dead bodies of Kerala pilgrim Leela Narayan, AP's Grandhi Subba Rao and Tamilnadu's Ramachandran to Nepalgunj through special helicopters after post-mortem. AP govt has sent a team of 5 officers for Telugus rescue.
