A tight tussle between the Centre and Delhi government will hopefully end today, as a verdict on this issue is due from Supreme Court (SC). Even as a huge debate raged over who should hold administrative control at national capital, New Delhi, the High Court (HC) ruled in 2016 that it should be the Lieutenant Governor (LG). The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led government at Delhi appealed in the SC, verdict on which will be given today. Meanwhile, at least 90 per cent of people in Chandni Chowk said that administration should rest with Chief Minister.
