United Nation Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) 'experts' have urged India to release jailed Delhi University professor G.N. Saibaba who was arrested in May 2014 for allegedly having links with Maoists. This comes days after India hit out at the United Nations' Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for a 'motivated report' on Kashmir which legitimises terrorism. Saibaba was also referred to in the letter that had been seized from one of those detained over the Bhima-Koregaon violence. The letter had revealed a Maoist plot to assassinate PM Modi.
