Kadapa is a city in the Rayalaseema region of the south-central part of Andhra Pradesh. The city enjoys a special place in the history books, as it used to be the threshold or the entry point to the holy hills of Tirumala. Gandikota Fort,
Ontimitta, Ameen Peer Dargah, Pushpagiri and many others are the tourist spots in the district. Gandikota Fort is one of the most important tourist attractions and the fort houses an expansive palace, temple and a mosque. Vontimitta has the famous Sri Kodandarama Swami Temple.
