The cops arrested Volkswagen's Audi division Chief Executive Officer Rupert Stadler in Germany with a probe related to diesel emissions probe. Officials, who are investigating the case, said that they arrested the CEO suspecting he might tamper the evidence with regard to probe. The investigating officials charged Stadler with committing fraud of equipping software that controls emissions during regular driving and false advertising. The fraud came to light in 2015. Volkswagen spent 30 billion dollars to buy back 50,000 vehicles sold in the US.
