Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a call for states to strive for the two-digit growth in a healthy competition with federal spirit. In the fourth general council meeting of the Niti Aayog held in Delhi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao urged the NDA government to relax norms in the implementation of schemes related to education, health, urban development, agriculture and rural development. While Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu demanded that the Central government should fulfil all promises including special status to Andhra Pradesh. The Niti Aayog meeting focused on relations between Centre and states and distribution of powers.
