Focus : Kamineni Scions in Dispute over Domakonda Fort

Kamareddy Domakonda Fort has become centre of controversies with the Kamineni scions dispute over its heritage. The fort of historical significance has got various buildings called 'Manzils', extended in 38.20 acres of land registered in the names of heirs. According to the rock inscriptions in the Fort, Rani Rudrama Devi of Kakateeya Dynasty, offered prayers in the Mahadeva Temple in the Forte which was undertaken by Archeology department. One of the heirs, Kamineni Anil and Ram Charan's father-in-law approached police for one of them locking 'Glass building' claiming ownership. On the other hand, Domakonda residents expressed anguish over locking and making the Fort controversial.
