Mon, Jun 18, 2018, 08:53 AM
Karnataka is trying to take away 600 acres of forest land belonging to Andhra Pradesh by showing false border markings as GTS Station was destroyed in 2007 by OMC company. Borders between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka were decided on the basis of 1896 and 1926 survey maps. But, Karnataka officials are not accepting the survey maps. It is learnt that there are rich mineral resources in 600 acres. Karnataka officials are pressuring the AP government to accept their proposals before the Surveyor General of India.
