Mithali Raj Becomes First Woman To Reach 2000 T20I Runs

India's star woman cricketer Mithali Raj became the first Indian cricketer to reach 2000 runs in Twenty 20 Internationals (T20I). The 35-year-old right-hander from Jodhpur achieved the feat in 75 matches during her knock of 23 in the Women's Asia Cup T20 match against Sri Lanka. She is the seventh woman to reach 2,000-runs. The International Cricket Council (ICC) took note of Mithali Raj's milestone and congratulated her on Twitter. Former Indian Cricketer Anil Kumble has also congratulated her on twitter. Star batswoman now has 2,015 runs in 75 matches.
