Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has declared last month that Capital city Amaravati would be among the happiest in the world, promising a dedicated commitment to gauge the well-being of its future citizens. In the third meeting of the Joint Implementation Steering Committee held in Amaravati, the representatives of Singapore including its Minister for Information and Communication S Iswaran and AP Ministers, officials led by the Chief Minister have shared their thoughts towards the development of the state. However, the meeting has annoyed the opposition parties who alleged that it was a secret deal between the Singapore companies and AP government. Even the left party leaders have staged protest near the CRDA office. Watch debate on this issue.
