At least 10 lakh unemployed youth in Andhra Pradesh (AP) will be getting a stipend of Rs. 1,000 per month. Not just stipend, but the youth will also get incentives by way of training in skills of their choice, to make them fit for jobs. Announcing the bonanza, minister Nara Lokesh said that the scheme has been drafted after indepth study of such schemes, world over. Many states in India have tried but failed to implement it, he said. He hoped that it would be useful for the beneficiaries and make them productive human beings.
