Two suspected cases of Nipah virus detected in Karnataka - ABN

Even as it took a toll in Kerala, the dangerous Nipah virus looks to spread into other states as well. Two suspected cases of the virus have been detected in Karnataka it is learnt. The patients, a 20-year-old girl and a 75-year-old man have been admitted to the hospital with brain related disease. A thorough check has been launched on all visitors from Kerala, where the death toll due to the virus has been 12. Medical experts in both Telugu states have warned people to take precautions against the deadly virus.
