Chandrababu & Mamatha Banerji react to media on regional parties role

Wed, May 23, 2018, 04:16 PM
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee have addressed the media in Bengaluru ahead of Kumaraswamy's swearing-in as Karnataka CM on Wednesday. CM Chandrababu Naidu said it is a good occasion and made it clear that the leaders of the regional parties have come together. Chandrababu Naidu said they will strengthen the regional parties. When asked about forming a front against the Narendra Modi-led government, CM Chandrababu Naidu instead of answering this, said they are present there to support Kumaraswamy ji and his government. When West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee was asked about the 2019 Lok Sabha polls and BJP president Amit Shah claiming that the regional parties coming together does not make any difference, she has reminded a saying in Hindi. 'Jo humse takraayega, choor choor ho jayega.'(Whoever clashes against us will get crushed).
