Dr. Kafeel Khan to aid Kerala govt.; Nipah virus
In the wake of at least 11 deaths due to spread of toxic Nipah virus in Kerala, controversial Dr. Khaleel Khan has offered to help. Dr. Khan was a paedeatrician at Baba Raghav Das Medical College, at Gorakhpur, in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Over 60 kids had died in one day in the hospital, and Dr. Khan was among those blamed. He was released on bail later. Accepting Dr. Khan's helping hand, Kerala Chief Minister (CM) Vijayan urged him and other health workers to meet Kozhikode Medical College Superintendent.
