Congress and JD(S) mull over a 20-13 formula for sharing Karnataka cabinet berths

The Congress and the Janata Dal (Secular) are brainstorming to come up forming an agreeable coalition in Karnataka after the resignation of CM BS Yeddyurappa before a crucial floor test on Saturday. If reports are to be believed true then Congress and JD(S) are mulling over a 20-13 formula for sharing of cabinet berths. The Congress with 78 MLAs is likely to get 20 cabinet posts while the JDS will take 13. Kumaraswamy will take oath as chief minister on Wednesday and he will also hold the finance minister post, it is learned. G Parameshwara, chief of Karnataka Congress, is likely to be the deputy CM. DK Shivkumar of Congress, who played a key role in safeguarding the Congress-JD(S) MLAs from the alleged poaching is likely to be made the Power Minister.
