India has sent INS Airavat with 373 tonnes of consignment, to Bangladesh, as a second phase of its 'Operation INSaniyat,' to help Rohingya refugees. They had poured into Bangladesh from Myanmar, in the face of adverse weather conditions. The ship arrived at Chattogram Port on Tuesday, with baby food, milk powder, raincoats, gumboots and dried fish. Indian High Commissioner, Harsha Vardhan Shringla handed over the relief material to Bangladesh's Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury. India has sent its first relief material in September last, on humanitarian grounds, the High Commissioner said.
