According to Prof K Nageshwar, Chief Ministers of south Indian states are publicly criticising the central government for rendering injustice in allocation of funds. They are alleging that fewer funds are allocated to South India despite getting more tax. Kerala Finance Minister has called Finance Ministers of southern states at Thiruvananthapuram on April 10 to discuss the terms of reference of the 15th Finance Commission. The central government has suggested to 15th Finance Commission to calculate funds allocation based on 2011 census. The Northern states which have more population will benefit if funds are allocated as per 2011 census. AP will lose Rs 34,000 crore per annum.
