India today successfully flight-tested its precision-strike, world's fastest supersonic cruise missile, BrahMos. At 8:42 this morning, the missile hit its designated target with pin-point accuracy in Pokhran, Rajasthan. "Formidable Supersonic Cruise Missile BrahMos was successfully flight tested at 8:42 AM today at Pokhran test range, Rajasthan. The precision strike weapon with Indian-made seeker flew in its designated trajectory and hit the target with pin-point accuracy," tweeted the defence ministry. Union minister Nirmala Seetharaman congratulated the Defence Research and Development Organisation for the successful flight test.
