Noted Scientist Stephen Hawking has passed away at the age of 76 in Cambridge on Wednesday. He was born in Oxford in the UK in 1942. Hawking was permitted to wheel-chair after he suffered from Motor Neuron disease. The world has lost a great scientist. Hawking was an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. He was the first to set out a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.
