Crucial twist in cash-for-vote case: Jerusalem Mathaiah writes letter to SC CJI
Jerusalem Mathaiah, who was accused in the cash-for-vote case, wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of India urging him to allow his version to be heard in the Supreme Court. He has stated that the High Court of Hyderabad had delivered a verdict without hearing his argument. Mathaiah made it clear that he was aware of all facts about the cash-for-vote scam. In the letter, he mentioned that he was receiving threats from ruling party leaders of the Telugu states. He lamented that both Telugu governments are rendering injustice to him in phone tapping case.
