Google is cracking down on annoying online ads - cNet

Google has come up with launching a new initiative to help reduce annoying advertisements online. It is alleged that ad-blocker software users were found to be motivated by intrusive ads. Web users have also complained that pop-ups are the most annoying advertisements found on publishers' websites. There are also reports that smaller websites that do not have quality control resources, compared to the larger ones also rely heavily on ads to bring in revenue. Google has also taken measures to prevent users from encountering malicious content online. Watch the live video.
