PM greeted with chants of Modi, Modi by expats in Jordan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted with chants of 'Modi, Modi' by members of the expat community at Amman, in Jordan, when he arrived there on the first day of his 4-day visit to the country. Modi met Jordan King Abdullah II. Earlier, he was given a warm welcome by Prime Minister of Jordan. India and Jordan have enjoyed friendly relations ever since diplomatic relations were established 1950. Modi thanked His Majesty the King of Jordan for facilitating the transit. He visited Jordan as part of his West Asia tour.
