A bandh has been called in Andhra Pradesh in protest of the low fund allocation to the state. Schools and colleges were closed and the commercial establishments in most parts of the state downed their shutters. Though the bandh was successful, it has reportedly failed to create an impact. It was alleged that top leaders stayed away in the bandh. CM Chandrababu Naidu was busy in Dubai. YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took rest at Lotus pond in Hyderabad after putting a break to his padayatra. Jana Sena party Chief Pawan Kalyan was seen busy talking to the Lok Satta Chief Jaya Prakash Narayan and former Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar. On the other hand, AP MPs protest seem to have not affected the BJP led NDA government. AP State MPs who earlier announced that they are ready to resign for the concerns of people have been mulling other political plans following the suggestions of their leaders.
