Telangana Gets 1813 Crores in Railway Budget - T News

It is sweet news for Telangana from Railways. The State has been allocated Rs. 1,813 crore in the Railway budget. It is for improving facilities and passenger comfort. The authorities have also approved three new railway lines in the State. A sum of Rs. 21.25 crores has been allocated for MMTS second phase. Another Rs. 195.37 crore has been earmarked for security in trains. Also, Rs. 259 crores has been allocated for doubling works between Secunderabad and Mahbubnagar. South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager, Vinod Kumar Yadav, has made this announcement.
