Fri, Feb 02, 2018, 04:53 PM
Union Budget 2018-19 has failed to satisfy the people of Andhra Pradesh. Modi led NDA government has failed to compensate the damage done to AP following a bifurcation in the past four years. As AP has been facing the problems of revenue deficit and issues pertaining to Polavaram, Railway Zone and Capital Construction, the ruling MPs have expressed their strong resentment not only outside the Parliament house but also in Rajya Sabha. Rajya Sabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao has staged protest holding 'Save AP' placard in the Well of Rajya Sabha despite repeated appeals by Deputy Chairman Kurian to get back to his seat. Other Congress Legislative Council members have also raised their voices against Union Budget in Rajya Sabha.
