Trump outlines four-pillar immigration plan; end for visa lottery to get green card & relatives migration

During his State of the Union address, President Trump has stressed on the need for reforms in immigration. He proposed a four-pillar immigration plan offering a path to citizenship to 1.8 million dreamers, building a southern border wall, ending the visa lottery and severely curtailing family-based immigration, also known as chain migration. Trump said that terrorists involved in 2 recent attacks have entered the US with the chain migration system. He stated that open borders allow drugs and gangs to pour into communities and commit crimes.
