This Railway Station is India’s first to be manned by all women staff

The first all-women station in India, Matunga Central Railway (CR) has come up into operation. It is manned by a staff of 41 women. The said initiative was taken to create an environment for women where they can make all decisions of their own for their personal and professional well-being. The Matunga suburban station on the Central Railway (CR) has found the place in the Limca Book of Records as the station has been manned exclusively by women staffers since July 2017.
